Matthew 28:19  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Hey Beauties,

Happy New Year! I wanted to set the tone for the first post of the year and share with you one of the biggest things that God has been placing on my heart each day of January. I have always been passionate about sharing my favourite ever topic, sharing about the love of my Jesus and what He has done for me. My passion for Him is very noticeable in a public setting and when I thought that I had reached the height of my zeal, it just keeps getting better!

I want to remind you of the importance of sharing the Gospel and making disciples. We all need a saviour and we cannot do it without Him. Let us not forget that we were once in need of a solution to problems and could not find it anywhere else but at the feet of Jesus.

The Bible tells us that we can come with boldness to Christ (Hebrews 4:16; Ephesians 3:12).
2 Timothy 1:6 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

So I encourage you not be to shy when it comes to spreading the good word of God. The way I see it is this, the world is bold about their worldly activities, so I will be bold about my love for Christ.

Luke 12:11-12 When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.

We live in a time where even some believers want to appeal to the world and be popular, trying to fit in to where God has not called. Just be your bold amazing self, you are enough.

We are called to love everyone, and while it is not possible to meet every person on this world, we should find new opportunities to spread the good news, the truth. Find the person's "sweet spot"- an area of common ground that you can build trust, build rapport and share with them the reason for your joy.

John 13:35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

In all things, wisdom is essential. Yes we should preach the gospel but it does not mean that we should behave unwisely. In saying this, do not feel that it is your responsibility to make a disciple of your unsaved ex, as an excuse to hold on or remain in contact with him. If you know that you are in a relationship that is toxic or unpleasing to God or God is leading you away from people, its ok to love them from a distance, praying and believing that God will meet them where they are. Simply be discerning and trust in the Lord.

Faith without works is dead. Since we know that Jesus has healed us and transformed our lives to unrecognition, we are called to share this truth with our fellow brother and sisters.

James 2:18-24 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

I pray that if you are losing passion and desire for the Lord, what He has done for you and the sharing of the gospel, you will have a revival in your heart in the name of Jesus. As the days go by, it becomes more important to spread the gospel. Jesus is coming back, we do not know when so we should not miss opportunities. When we love one another, we care about souls being saved, we want them to do better and have eternal life.

Now more than ever, you can find any "truth" that you want. Your source will mainly be the internet but people think that aside from Jesus, there is truth elsewhere. I pray that, like God put the words in Jeremiah's mouth (Read Jeremiah 1), He will put the words in your mouth to share the truth in love. People really need to be set free from chains in their lives and God will use those that are willing to share the Gospel.

John 8:31-32 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

So since we know the truth let us not only talk but walk it out, genuinely. Remember people are watching our every move to see how this Jesus thing is working out for us.

God bless you as you obey His word.
